Imagine being unable to hug your family, your loved ones, for several years. Not knowing their whereabouts, suffering from the anxiety of where they might be, if they have been taken in, if they have enough to eat and a place to rest. Wondering if, for at least some time, they have escaped the roar of bombs and the blinding flash of deadly fire, the fire that brings death.
How long can one endure a life of absence? Unable to feel the shiver that runs through the body when the embrace and warmth are genuine, born from the soul. The embrace fantasizes about embracing those you love, and in doing so, everything fills with life, excitement, and hope. Suddenly, you sense how colour flows, like a blood infusion that revives the hands and nourishes the rest of the body, restoring the vitality and energy needed to regain the path.
The embrace symbolizes the distance that separates many refugees from their families and the unease of not knowing about them, but above all, it represents the hope that there is always an open door to a new life.
This work is part of the European Unity collection, which Gómez Cambronero presented in November 2023 in a major solo exhibition at the European Parliament in Brussels.
Furthermore, this work had been a finalist in the most prestigious competition in the world, the ARC Salon (New York) and also in the Mod Portrait 2023 competition (Spain).

The price of the artwork does not include shipping. Due to the diversity of international destinations, each shipment may have different rates and regulations based on the destination country, so it is not possible to establish a fixed shipping price associated with each artwork from the outset.
The buyer will be responsible for the shipping cost.

Shipping Organized by the Buyer: If you prefer, you can arrange the shipping with the carrier of your choice. I will provide you with the dimensions, weight of the packaged artwork, and the pickup address (13250 – Daimiel – Spain).
In both cases, I will ensure that each artwork is carefully packaged to arrive in perfect condition and will provide any necessary documentation for customs or import.
